Giant decision not really:
Should I spend the next hour reading Game of Thrones or watching another episode of Torchwood?
I wanted to tell the book thief many things, about beauty and brutality, but what could I tell her about those things that she didn’t already know?
I wanted to explain that I am constantly overestimating and underestimating the human race - that rarely do I ever simply estimate it.
I wanted to ask her how the same thing could be so ugly and so glorious, and its words and stories so damning and brilliant.

If anyone needs a good science fiction read, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is one of my personal favorites. I’ve re- read it, and the books that follow in the series, 2 or 3 times in the past few years and I still love them.
The book follows Andrew “Ender” Wiggin, a boy taken away from his family at a young age, at Battle School where he undergoes rigorous military training to become a leader in a futuristic world as he battles feelings of loneliness, fear, and isolation.
Ender’s Game deals with many psychological and ethical issues, the value of family, and violence among other things. It is the story of a young boy in an adult world and it is one of the greatest science fiction series I’ve read.
Bad news: I’m on the Order of the Phoenix right now and the midnight showing is tomorrow night. :) AND I’m on Tumblr :)
Yay?
