Karen Gillian and Arthur Darvill filmed their last scenes as Amy Pond and Rory Williams today. For the past 2 1/2 years, we have been through the ups and downs of those two fictional characters that are so dear to every Whovians hearts. We have seen Rory being erased from time, and Amy remembering him. We have seen them get married, after copious amounts of years of Rory fawning over Amy as a child, We have seen them have a baby, and her being torn heartbreakingly away from them, we have seen them defeat dozens of aliens and having a fun time doing it. We have been with them through ups and downs, changing OTP’s watching how Team TARDIS now fits together so perfectly. Farewell Pond’s, we will miss you terribly.
And yet we will also secretly enjoy their departure. Rory and Amy were wonderful characters but now we can see new characters and stories that don’t revolve completely around them.
